LL'91

Year: 2025

Technique: Pattern cutting, hand stitching, hand embroidery, painting, edge finishing

Material: Vegetable-tanned leather, metal hardware, paracord, waxed linen thread, leather paint

A series of leather objects exploring construction, surface intervention, and methods of attachment. Through repeated making, I tested how leather behaves under embroidery, paint, layering, and different joining techniques, focusing on durability, wear, and structural decision making.

Title: Leather Bag I

Year: 2025

Dimensions: approx. 30 × 60 × 10 cm

Technique: Pattern cutting, hand stitching, hand embroidery

Material: Leather, metal hardware, paracord, waxed linen thread

Display form: Wearable object

This object explores the relationship between structural leather construction and hand embroidery. I tested how embroidery behaves on a dense, resistant surface, focusing on tension, penetration, and durability. The work examines contrasts between softness and rigidity through material interaction rather than decorative application.
